Assistant Professor and Director of Healthcare Management, MS program

Michael Rip is the founding director of MSU’s Master of Science in Healthcare Management program and an assistant professor in the Department of Management in the Eli Broad College of Business. He is also founding director of the Program in Public Health in the College of Human Medicine. His research interests include critical thinking and innovation and how critical thinking can provide a foundation for high-reliability organizations to improve patient safety and minimize error in healthcare settings.

Students must complete the core classes, and choose one elective.


 

Admissions Requirements

To be accepted to this program, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree with requirements for admission to the graduate certificates are a minimum GPA of 2.5 or a graduate GPA of 3.0
  • A written statement of purpose detailing your professional interests and goals
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts from all previous schools
